Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Developed around 1920, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport based on ground fighting and submission holds. It focuses on the skill of taking opponents to the ground, controlling one’s opponent, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks and choke holds. Jiu Jitsu is often referred to as a gentle art.

Shaolin Hung Gar Kung Fu

Hung Gar is a southern Chinese martial art belonging to the southern Shaolin styles. The hallmarks of Hung Gar are strong stances, notably the horse stance, strong hand techniques, notably the bridge hand and the versatile tiger claw, open hand and weapons forms. Hung Gar’s earliest beginnings have been traced to the 17th century in southern China. Aside from its strong physical attributes, Hung Gar also develops your internal strength through posture, deep breathing and dynamic tension exercises.
